We are delighted to announce that Sam Glover of Glover Agriculture has made it to the Final 3 for the Contractor of the Year in the National Arable & Grassland Awards 2024! The award ceremony is a prestigious event and will take place at the Hilton London Bankside, on the 7th February 2024.
Sam said, “Without the support of my dedicated team and family this nomination would not have been possible. All of my team work closely alongside myself with 100% effort, including night work to ensure we work as best as we can with the weather, enabling our customers to receive the best possible service.”
The company provides agricultural services to all local farmers and countryside owners including services such as cereal and sugar beet harvesting, preparation and drilling including haulage. They also provide straw to local power stations to assist with bio-energy fuel and offer bio-mass wood-chipping to a range of customers.
The Contractor of the Year is defined as a dynamic and professional individual who is regarded as a professional advisor to their customers and viewed as a key cog in the customer’s business. The winning contractor will be a committed user of precision farming equipment and will be multi-skilled, flexible, reactive to customer’s needs, and able to keep multiple customers happy all at once.
